Thank you so much for following The Ivy Cottages! All of my posts are free but if you do wish to support me, hop on over to my Amazon to purchase one of my books or buy me a coffee to support my mini farm and plethora of animals! Thank you!

My pen name is Isla Skye that was born into being over a decade ago in a dream. I’m a mother, teacher, author and herbalist. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Education as well as multiple certifications in herbalism and nutrition. I enjoy living in closeness and reciprocal relationship with the rich natural ecology that surrounds each of us as well as uplifting and centering groups and people that are making positive changes in the world such as theIndigenous Environmental Network. I teach in the public school system and enjoy exploring re-wilding both in our physical environments, through native planting and edible landscaping as well as on a more personal level. I enjoy gardening, camping, hiking and all sorts of crafts, music and art.
